Hardly Strictly Bluegrass: October 8th, 2007

Papa, Jasper and Jayna with Earl Scruggs. Chad played the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival in Golden Gate Park again this year. Last year he played with our friend Bill Evans and his Banjo Extravaganza and this year he played with the DGBX-David Grisman Bluegrass Experience. They played for over 100,000 people at the largest bluegrass festival anywhere. This festival is free and crazy, wall to wall people by the end of the day and if we didn't have a Friends and Family pass I don't think I would go. Many thanks to our very good friend Mark for getting there at 7am to save a spot. Even though he was there at 7am there were already people ahead of him--crazy! Last year we got a great picture of Jasper and Chad with Earl Scruggs and this year we go another great photo of them and Jayna with Earl Scruggs.
